Katherine “Kate” Abigail Cabot. Age: Mid 20s. She is a vampire from colonial era USA. She lived a pretty high-end life since her family was an upper crust southern family. She was courted by many a suitor and one in particular seemed very interested in her. She how ever had an interest in women. When this particular suitor found out about Kate and her lover, he revealed himself and turned her. He spread rumors about Kate's partner, and she was hung as a self-practicing witch. ((Laws in southern USA didn’t stop hunting witches until 1940-50s)) He kept the newly sired Kate trapped with him until she broke free during the civil war. She used what little rep she had left as a Cabot and what little money was left by her family to open a Saloon. In modern day she now owns and operates one of the oldest bars in the USA. Every year on the day of her being sired she throws a colonial themed ball at her family home. This year however she felt loneliness that often presented itself creep so deeply within herself; she felt as though her chest was wrapped completely by the Cyprus tress that stood just outside of her home. She stepped out into the night air for a change from the music and the swirl of emotions and scents from inside. As she stared across the swampland that lay just east of her abode, “is it?” “Could it be?” A figure races amongst the trees. It greatly resembles her lost love. She chases the figure well into the swamp only to happen upon a portal that has led her to the manor door.
